I feel like I'm 17 yrs old again. That's how long it's been since I wore glasses or contacts. This morning when I woke up I could see all the detail in my garden. Every leaf and flower. I would like to thank Dr. Caster for this miracle he has accomplished. It truly is the best decision you could ever make. Dr. Caster's caring, professional and excellent staff really help make this experience worthwhile. I was very nearsighted and had very little astigmatism. I wouldn't be able to drive, read, or even look at people's faces. I would get bad headaches and eyestrains. I feel like I was in my own world. There was nothing I could do to stop this but rely on my glasses or contact lenses. Now I am 20/20 and my weak left eye is 20/15. I can rely on myself now. The way I always wanted it to be since I was 9 years old.

I work in the technology biz, so I feel pretty jaded about most so-called "technological breakthroughs". But I am in genuine awe of what Dr. Caster and his staff can do. It's a great feeling to be able to see without glasses or contact lenses. Because I elected to have the monovision procedure I can see far and I'm also able to read. No, there is no pain. Pulling the tape off your face, which holds your eyelashes out of the way, is the most painful part of the process. |
